Secular history and redemptive history are different values from the direction in which they flow. The world only lives for the purpose of happiness and success in front of it because it does not know judgment and repentance, but the restraint sees eternal life through the crucifixion and resurrection. Through the collapse of the land, where the sun, moon, and stars seem to fall on which I relied, we finally see God through the gaze of Jesus, who has lowered. The cross and resurrection are one word. Resurrection is not a theory that is proven by logic, but only through the changed life of a witness. Through today's words, let's look at what the witness is and to whom he appeared first.
First, you see Mary Magdalene on the first day after rest.
The First Day of the Rest is a significant day recorded in all Gospels, a spiritual junction that turns from the Old Testament's lawful Sabbath to the Day of Life to commemorate the resurrection of the New Testament. The first witness to this historic resurrection was Mary Magdalene, who was once possessed by seven ghosts but realized the purpose of life when she met the Lord. Because she believed and loved the Lord as a messiah, she ran to the grave before sunrise, but her faith in resurrection was not yet mature. The way we worry about "who will roll the stone door" is the same as our fragile way of loving the Lord but worrying in front of the reality in front of us.
Meanwhile, Mary Bethany also appears in the Bible. She received adequate parenting through the death and resurrection of her brother, Nasarro, so she did not doubt the resurrection of Jesus. Although she did not go to the tomb, she received the highest praise for her faith in living by the word, preparing for the Lord's funeral with expensive enjoyment.
Nevertheless, God chooses Mary Magdalene of the lowest position as the first witness to the resurrection for the spread of the gospel. The women headed to the tomb with concern, but the large stone had already been moved and the empty tomb was proving the resurrection. These women who went to love showed faith before their disciples, who did not even go to the scene.
Second, we need parenting.
The Lord nurtures women by saying, "He is alive, and this is where he was placed" (Act 16:6). People find it hard to believe because they cannot see the resurrection in person, but the resurrection of Jesus is a creative resurrection that lives forever, not dying again like Nasarro.
Even when the stone gate has already been moved, women still search for Jesus who was crucified. Finding the living among the dead and adhering to graves and corpses are evidence of disbelief in resurrection. We still often live in the context of past events and visible reality. Time is life, and life is Jesus. Therefore, wasting time is ultimately treating Jesus lightly.
The Lord leads the fearful women to the faith of resurrection, saying, "Don't be surprised." This nurturing itself is a grace that has already been chosen. When I have the realization and experience of resurrection, the vulnerability and testimony of shame of the saints also begin to be heard in my story. Women knew that Jesus was Messiah, but they did not yet know the true nature of the resurrection. But the fact that God resurrected Jesus is the greatest event that reveals the superiority and brilliance of Christianity.
I lost my husband in my 30s and stood in front of despair like a 'big stone' that blocked my way. For me, who was afraid of only Jesus who died like women, the Lord raised me with words. He convinced his husband of his salvation by saying, "Those who repent and leave shall live" (Gel 18:28), and at that moment the fear of death disappeared. The grace of resurrection I experienced that day has given me the power and mission to interpret any event for the past 40 years. Showing a life of interpreting and solving my case in words, that is the best parenting for the next generation.
The Lord lay in the darkness of the tomb for our salvation. Only when we, too, are willing to persevere in the dark for salvation can we give a testimony of a resurrection in which the insignia is torn. Participate in every parenting position, and experience the actual ability of resurrection, not theory.
Third, to give you a mission.
Anyone who meets the Lord of the Resurrection is given a mission in any environment. The Lord made Mary Magdalene, who was possessed by seven ghosts, the first witness and used it as a tool to restore Peter, the hand-made man who failed. This is not an appearance or condition, but an arresting historical providence of God who works through a low man whose "six" has been destroyed through hardship.
For the disciples, Galilee was both a place of first love and a scene of shame that fled, but when the Lord came, the 'Gabul land' turned into the most glorious place of mission. Although the disciples went back to their lives because they were distrustful, the Lord waited patiently until the end and eventually made them valuable workers.
Paul's refusal to mention women in the Corinthian Book of Resurrection's list of witnesses demonstrates the poor status of women at the time. However, by choosing the low, lowly woman as the first witness, God revealed the true meaning of Resurrection, which overturns the value of the world. As such, the experience of Resurrection is a complete blessing that no one can boast about.
It is a brilliant testimony of resurrection shown by butler Kim Eun-ja, an ordinary saint on the verge of death from terminal cancer.
In the last week of regaining consciousness, the butler summoned his family and acquaintances one by one, despite the pain of being unable to open their eyes, to hold hands and receive a promise to believe in Jesus, and even designated specific churches and ranches.
One who was full of joy as if the pain had disappeared when he preached the gospel, urged him to believe in Jesus by calling his name until the end to miss even a soul, and completed his mission with a peaceful confession that "he has delivered everything to the messenger" and was in the arms of the Lord. The testimony of this resurrection, which the ordinary saint showed in the face of death, clearly showed the desire of heaven and God is alive.
